Espresso
Syrup
Use
fresh brewed espresso for best flavor. This versatile syrup can
be used as a flavoring for desserts and sauces, or used on pancakes,
ice cream and gelato. Keep this on hand in the refrigerator.

t fresh orange zest |
1/4 c
water |
1 t cinnamon |
1/2 c
brewed espresso |

In
small saucepan, heat sugar and water until sugar dissolves, stirring
all the while. Bring to boil and let boil for 3 minutes. Remove
pan and let cool for 1 minute. Add in the rest of the ingredients.
Pour into jar and let sit for 1/2 hour before using.

Chocolate
Syrup
Indispensable
for such things as chocolate milk, topping for ice creams and hot
fudge sauces.

T cocoa |
1/4
c butter |
1 c sugar |
1/8 t
salt |
3/4 c
evaporated milk |
1/2 t
vanilla |
Combine
in microwavable dish the cocoa, sugar and milk. Whisk smooth. Heat
on high for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and add in butter and
salt. Cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes more. Remove and add in vanilla.
Whisk thoroughly. Pour into a jar, let cool, cover and refrigerate.
