Chocolate fudge sauces are generally more richer than regular chocolate sauce. Use this chocolate sauce to serve with dessert and cakes.
Chocolate Fudge Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup cocoa, sifted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped fine
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
- 1 tablespoon white corn syrup
- 10 tablespoons white sugar
Procedure
- Place the cocoa and chocolate in a bowl. In saucepan, combine butter, sugar, cream, water and corn syrup and bring to a boil. Pour this hot liquid over the cocoa and chocolate and let stand for 3 minutes. Using a whisk, stir sauce until smooth. Strain the sauce into another bowl and allow to cool.
