brown sugar glaze recipe

This glaze is nice for spiced cakes, coffee cakes, and cinnamon rolls.

Brown Sugar Glaze

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons butter, soft
  • 1 tablespoon hot milk
  • 2 teaspoons corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Procedure
  1. Blend brown sugar, butter, milk, corn syrup, and vanilla in a blender until smooth. Add in powdered sugar and blend until smooth. Ice over a cooled cake.
