This glaze is nice for spiced cakes, such as Three-Ginger Spice Cake.
Brown Sugar Coffee Glaze
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Procedure
- Whisk the brown sugar, milk and instant coffee together in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat stirring occasionally until sugar and coffee dissolve. Bring to boil for one miute.
- Remove from heat and add in the butter and vanilla, and stir until blended and smooth.
